In its pursuit to empower academic institutions with the best in technology, Power Mac Center (PMC) has partnered with the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) to open an innovation hub where educators and learners can experience digital transformation with Apple devices.
Called the ‘Ateneo Coding, Technical, & Multimedia Basecamp,’ the learning hub with eight iMacs from PMC aims to provide professional development training for students, faculty, IT, and other members of the Ateneo community.
With Basecamp, PMC’s official training provider, the lab will also educate students and parents on how to maximize their Apple devices for learning and upskilling through courses spearheaded by Power Mac Center’s Apple Certified Trainers.
Classes offered include Coding and iOS App Development, Apple Fundamentals, and Technical Support, Podcast Creation with GarageBand, Office Productivity with iWork, and Video Editing with iMovie.
“It has been a longstanding commitment of Power Mac Center to be an advocate of learning. With the country’s respected educational institutions as our partners, we’re honored to be part of the necessary steps towards creating a future where technology is accessible and equitable for all,” said Maleng Raysag, Head of Basecamp.
