Service Center Terms and Conditions

 

1. A product with a valid Apple warranty (Apple Limited 09 Warranty or AppleCare Protection Plan) shall be repaired free-of-charge. Client may be required to present a valid proof of purchase to avail of such free service. However, specific part/s and consumables are excluded from Apple warranty and shall be for the account of the client. 

2. Accident, liquid spillage, force majeure and violation of the Apple Warranty Terms and Conditions shall not be covered by the product’s warranty coverage. These violations include, but are not limited to, the following: misuse, abuse and/or repair by unauthorized personnel. 

3. Repair of a product with an expired Apple Warranty (i.e., more than 12 months from purchase date) or void Apple warranty shall be charged a diagnostic fee. Initially, a Service Quotation specifying the cost of diagnostic and replacement part/s shall be prepared for the client’s approval. However, a down payment of fifty-percent (50%) of the initial quote shall be required before any repair is made. Should other defects requiring additional repair or replacement part/s subsequently arise, a separate quotation shall be made and another down payment shall be required. 

4. Diagnostic and/or other applicable service fees shall be charged if the client rejects the Service Quotation and/or decides to pull out the product. 

5. Only products/models launched in the last five (5) years may be accepted for service/repair. Earlier products/models are considered by Apple as either obsolete or vintage so parts may no longer be available.

6. Power Mac Center Inc. may repair the product and provide product or part that is manufactured from new, refurbished or serviceable used part/s. This product or part shall be functionally equivalent to the replaced product or part.

7. The configuration and contents of a product with non-bootable issue are subject to Power Mac Center, Inc.’s verification and confirmation.

8. Power Mac Center Inc., reserves the right to reject or discontinue any service and/or repair when it is economically unsound or when parts are unavailable or when a product is badly tampered or abused and for other similar reasons.

9. Content and data may be lost during any service, repair or replacement of the product. The client hereby acknowledges that it is his/her responsibility to secure and back-up the data or personal information stored on the product’s memory, hard drive or storage prior to any repair. By signing our Acknowledgment Receipt, the client hereby acknowledges that he/she has done so.

10. Any Information remaining on the hard drive, memory or storage device is dispensable and is not confidential. The client hereby releases Power Mac Center, Inc., its a liates or any of its employees from responsibility for any loss of  data, damage or undue distribution of. 

11. The following requested personal information (name, address, telephone number and email address) are necessary to proceed with the request for service. If service is requested pursuant to Apple, service obligation, such 19 information will be transferred to the third party for Repair of a product with an expired Apple Warranty (i.e., more than 12 months from purchase date) or void Apple warranty shall be charged a diagnostic fee. Initially, a Service Quotation specifying the cost of diagnostic and replacement part/s shall be prepared for the client’s approval. However, a down payment of fifty-percent (50%) of the initial quote shall be required before any repair is made. Should verification and quality purposes, including confirming the service transaction and submitting a customer survey. 

12. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Power Mac 20 Center Inc., it’s a liates and employees, shall not, in any way or circumstance, be held liable, either expressly, or impliedly, for any damages or loss of any kind resulting Diagnostic and/or other applicable service fees shall be charged if the client rejects the Service Quotation and/or decides to pull out the product.  Only products/models launched in the last five (5) years may be accepted for service/repair. 13. A replacement product that may be issued to the client shall contain factory settings only. It shall not include any personal data or file and it should not contain any external enhancements/accessory such as glass protectors, stickers, and the like from the original client’s product. 

14. A product shall only be released upon presentation of the Service Assessment Form / Acknowledgment Receipt / Job Order, a valid ID and upon full payment of any applicable fees. In addition to his own ID, any representative must present a written Letter of Authorization and valid ID’s of the registered person or owner of the product. 

15. In case an Acknowledgment Receipt is misplaced, lost or  stolen, such fact should immediately be reported in writing to Power Mac Center, Inc. to prevent erroneous release to other claimants. A notarized A davit of Loss together with photocopies of valid ID’s of the registered person or owner of the product must be presented with the written report. Failure of the client to comply with this requirement shall absolve Power Mac Center, Inc., from liability in case of erroneous release to claimants presenting such Acknowledgment Receipt. 

16. All repairs come with a LIMITED service warranty on labor and replacement part/s for ninety (90) days from date of release of the product to the client. 

17. Power Mac Center, Inc. reserves the right to refuse the release/delivery of any product if the applicable service fees have not been settled. Client’s failure or refusal to pay the applicable service fees shall be considered as a failure or refusal to claim the product. 

18. A storage fee of Php 500.00 shall be charged for any product, which remains unclaimed for thirty (30) days despite notice of the client. After the first thirty (30) days, an additional storage fee of Php 500.00 per thirty (30) days shall be charged. 

19. Power Mac Center, Inc. has the right to transfer any product that remains unclaimed for more than thirty (30) days from the original drop-o point to another location for proper safekeeping. Client agrees to claim and pick-up his/her unit in the new location. 

20. Power Mac Center, Inc. reserved the right to dispose of any product that remains unclaimed for more that ninety (90) days or to refuse the release/delivery of any product if the applicable service fees have not been settled. 

21. Power Mac Center, Inc. shall not be held liable for any damage or defect to the product caused by accident, neglect, abuse, misuse, including faulty installation and maintenance by anyone other than the authorized service provider/s unauthorized modification, extreme environments, physical and electrical stress, interference, fluctuation, or current surges, lightning, static electricity, fire and/or such other external causes beyond its control. 

22. Power Mac Center, Inc. will not accept and keep any accessory that is not subject for repair or relevant in the repair of a product. Third-Party products requiring after-sales service which are sold by Power Mac Center, Inc. shall only be received by Power Mac Center, Inc. for endorsement to an appointed third-party service provider. 

23. Power Mac Center does not re-sell any Apple service part/module except in the course of its service of Apple products. 

24. Venue of all suits arising from this Agreement or any other suit between Power Mac Center, Inc. and the Client shall only be in the proper courts of Makati City, Metro Manila. Client hereby expressly waives any other venues.
